Post Expiration setup & A Few Other Tweaks

Well, I "think" I finally have the posts so they will expire on a timely manner. I will just have to wait and see at this point if it works right, but the posts should start expiring on their own after 45 days. This way, if you sell the equipment and forget to remove the post, it will go away on it's own. You can always re-publish the post by going to the posts "edit" link from your "My Account" -> "My Posts" tab. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and there should be a "Publish" check-box that is unchecked. Check it, save the post and it will be live again for another 45 days.

I also made a few minor tweaks to the post's Price, City, State & Contact area to make it a little more symmetrical and what-not. Oh ya, I also added some images to the menu titles over on the left. If you aren't seeing a banana yellow streak going through the Menu titles, press and hold the ctrl button on your keyboard, then press r, then release the buttons. ctrl + r It does what's called a "force refresh" of your web browser and they all pretty well recognize it whether you are using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome etc. The other option is to delete all of your temporary internet files and then visit buymyasphalt.com again.

I'm also testing out the "Image Grid". At this point, I can't get the posts that don't have images, to keep from showing up on the grid... so I don't know if I will leave it on or not. We'll see...

If you are new to the site, welcome! If you are returning and just checking out the updates, you will probably notice a few more posts on the home page! I have been doing some pro-active direct advertising which has been working pretty well! As time goes on and word-of-mouth spreads, the site should become a hot place to buy and sell used asphalt equipment.
